Spanx Higher Power High Waisted Shaper Shorts - My Review
The Spanx Higher Power High Waisted Shaper Shorts are the all time Spanx Best Seller. They have been tweaked around with over the years and this version I do believe is by far the best. The bits I really didn't like about the originals have been sorted and I'm hoping that this is the final and best version!
The Spanx Higher Power Shaper Shorts come in a very gorgeous RED packet.
They are HIGH WAISTED in style and so have quite a long body.
This new version is SEAMLESS (most notably the center seam from the original has GONE!). The fabric is still the same, lovely soft stretchy hosiery sort but this has been made even more effective by zones.
The gusset is a double open flap one, so you don't need to pull them down to use the loo. Not everyone's cup of tea, but it does work!
The legs are super soft (but still nice and slimming). The ends are folded over with no seam, edging or stitching. This means they should lie nice and flat on your thighs - no lines of bulging where they finish.
There are inner thigh seams but these are not noticeable when you are wearing them.
The waistband is a high waisted one, so it comes up to somewhere under your bra (depending on how tall you are). It is again folded over with no stitching, seams or elastic, so it should lie flat. Inside the waistband at the back is a "slip strip" to hold the waistband in place. This is a brilliant addition as the old version did have a tendancy of rolling down!
At the back of the shaper there is ruching and gathering around the bottom. This helps to give your bum loads of shape and stops you having a "shapewear" bum!
The MEDIUM size should fit around a UK dress sizes 12/14 but this is dependent on your weight and height.
The shaper measures 46 cms top to bottom
