Spanx have taken one of the original classics and revamped it. There were some problems with the original - the center seam was pretty bad, the fabric wasn't all that lovely, and the bum didn't give any shape. All these problems have been recified and I think you will be really pleased with the result!
The Spanx Higher Power Panties High Waisted Shaper Briefs come in a lovely SPANX RED packet.
They are HIGH WAISTED in style, and so have quite a long body.
The legs are cut nice and high and the openings are soft and stretchy. These should sit nicely on your legs and not dig in.
The gusset is a CLOSED one. It is lined so you can wear it in place of your own underwear for long periods of time.
The fabric is SUPER SOFT and smooth. Spanx have got rid of the SEAMS and so it is COMPLETELY SEAMLESS. This means it shouldn't show through pretty much any clothing.
The waistband (which should it someone under your bra line, depending on how tall you are), is made from FOLDED over fabric. This doesn't have any stitching or binding, so it should lie really flat against your body.
Inside the waistband at the back is a SLIP STRIP. This grips to your skin, stops the shaper from rolling and holds everything perfectly in place.
On the bottom, the fabric is RUCHED and GATHERED to give your bottom loads of shape.
There is also TENSIONED fabric around your waist to help pull in your waistline, making you look much slimmer.
